૧	તૃણ પણ લેતાં પાપ છે, પરજનનું જે હોય;

૨	નીકળતાં તો ભૂમિથી અંકુર અલ્પ જણાય;
	હમણાં નાનું હોય તે આગળ વૃખ દેખાય.
૩	દુણ તો મોટા ઝાડનો સંકુર મધ્યે ગુપ્ત;
	ઝેરી રસ જો ત્યાં હશે, કદી થશે નહિ મુક્ત.
૪	માટે પસ્તાવો કરો, અલ્પ જ જોતાં ખોડ;
	'દુર્ગુણ કાઢો, હે પ્રભુ' એમ કહી કર જોડ.

3	The evil of a great tree is hidden within the seed;
	If poisonous sap is there, it will never be free.
4	Therefore repent, when you see even a little fault;
