૧	માનવનો મુખ્યાર્થ કહું, સહુ ચિત્ત ધરોને;
	દેવ તણો મહિમા કરવો, સુવિચાર કરોને.
	માલિક જીવ, શરીર તણો પરમેશ્વર જાણો;
	અંતિદિને ઈનસાફ કરી પૂછશે સહુ માનો.
૨	બાઈબલ હાથ દીધું તમને શીખવા સત વાતો,
	તો ઉપયોગ કરો જલદી ધરજો ચિત્ત ત્યાં તો.
	ઈશ્વરની મરજી તમને સતલેખ બતાવે,
	એ સત્તલેખ દઈ તમને પ્રભુ કામ કરાવે.
૩	આ અવતાર દીધો તમને કરવા શુભ કામો,
	ને બહુ દાન દીધાં તમને સુખ જે તમ પામો.
	તો શીદ આળસ અંગ ધરી દિન વ્યર્થ ગુમાવો ?
	ઈશ્વર નામ તણો મહિમા હમણાં જ કરાવો.
૪	ઈશ્વરની સત વાત થકી ગુણ જે તમ પામ્યાં,
	એ ગુણ લોક લહે સઘળા ગુણ જે નહિ કહે છે :
	બાળક, વૃદ્ધ, જુવાન, બધાં, તમને પ્રભુ કહે છે :
	શાસ્ત્રતણાં હથિયાર સજો, પ્રભુ એમ કહે છે.
૫	જે શુભ દાન મળ્યું તમને, રજ દામ વિના તે,
	વાપરજો, પ્રભુ ખ્રિસ્ત કહે, રજ ગોપ વિના તે.
	સેવક ઈસુ ખ્રિસ્ત તણા તમને પ્રભુ કહે છે :
	ઈશ્વરનો મહિમા કરવો બહુ ઉત્તમ એ છે.

1	I tell the chief purpose of man, let all keep attention;
	To glorify God, consider this good thought.
	Know the Lord God as the Master of life and body;
	On the last day He will judge and ask all, believe it.
2	The Bible was placed in your hand to learn true things,
	So use it quickly and keep your mind there.
	God's will shows you the true writing,
	Giving that true writing to you, the Lord makes you do His work.
