	વેળા વેળે આપ્યું અન્ન, તૃપ્ત કર્યું છે સહુનું મન.
૨	આત્માને પણ આત્મિક અન્ન, સૌ કરતાં એ અદકું ધન,
	જે કંઈ આફત આવી શિર ખાળીને બહુ આપી ધીર;
	અગણિત ઈશ્વરના ઉપકાર કીધા તેણે વારંવાર,
	તે સંભારી તેને કાજ જીવન અર્પો તેને આજ.
૩	વર્ષો વીતી કેવાં જાય, આયુષ્ય સહુનું ઓછું થાય,
	નાનાં મોટાં ઘરડાં થાય, મરણ તણે સહુ કાંઠે જાય;
	જીવન ધૂમર જેવું જાણ, તાપ પડે કે નહિ એધાણ,
	સહુનું જીવન જગમાં શેષ, માનો ઈશ્વરનો ઉપસેશ.
૪	વર્ષ નવું જે બેસે કાલ તેમાં ઈશ્વર અમને પાળ,
	ઈસુની જે રુડી ચાલ તેમાં સહુનાં પગલાં વાળ;
	પહોળો રસ્તો તજવા નિત પાપવિકારો પર દે જીત,
	જીવનનો જે રસ્તો તંગ નિત્ય નિભાવવા રહેજે સંગ.
