	સંધી ચાલ વિષે બહુ અંધી ચૂક થયેલી.
૨	ત્રાતા, તું બળવાન ભણી હું દીન ફરું છું;
	તોડો બેડી પાપ તણી, એ પ્રાર્થ કરું છું.
૩	આંખ વિષે તુજ તેજ ભરી જન્માંધ મટાડો;
	સાંભળતો કરતાં મારો બહેરાટ હઠાડો.
૪	આત્મા જે મૃતરૂપ થયો તે ચેતન પામે,
	તેને જીવ મળ્યો દીસે તારે સહુ કામે.
૫	કર્તા, આ પાષાણ તણું હૈડું બદલાવો;
	આપી જન્મ નવો ચોખ્ખો વ્યવહાર ચલાવો.
૬	પ્રેમ નવો ને ભાવ નવો, સારું કરવાને,
	દિલ નવું આપો, સહુ દુષ્ટ તજી ફરવાને.

1	From birth all my ways have gone astray,
	In the path of righteousness many blind mistakes have been made.
2	Savior, calling You mighty, I wander in weakness;
	Break the chain of sin, this is my prayer.
3	Fill my eyes with Your light and remove my birth-blindness;
	Drive away my deafness so that I may hear.
4	May the soul that has become like the dead receive life,
	May it seem to have found life for all Your works.
5	Kartaa, change this heart of stone;
	Giving a new birth, lead a pure conduct.
6	New love and new feeling, for doing good,
	Give a new heart, to turn away from all evil.
