જેનું મન ઈશ્વરમાં મ્હાલે, જે મનવાંછિત પૂર્ણ કરે;
જ્યાંથી પૂર્ણી પરાક્રમ પામે, સંતો અમી શાં અણખૂટયે;

98 - The heart-rending scene in the garden of Gethsemane
Bhairavi
Where lovely trees and vines stand all around, Christ the revered Master meditates,
Whose mind delights in God, who fulfills the heart's desire;
About such a place, man receives a new sweet understanding,
Vain are the lives of those men whose hearts are not melted!
Where through toil, sweat of blood flowed and streamed in trembling drops,
From where saints fully receive valor, inexhaustible like nectar;
From that streaming current of blood, showers of blessing are received again and again!
Vain are the lives of those men whose hearts are not melted!
The ordainer of the kingdom of heaven, here bears some deep pain in His heart,
He who lacks nothing at all, ah, melts with a lowly face!
Beginningless, endless, immortal, supreme ruler, becoming withdrawn, sets aside His majesty!
Vain are the lives of those men whose hearts are not melted!
"Stay awake, O my brethren! Do not forsake this final moment,"
"Against the enemy host through sleep, how will you ever remain steadfast;"
"Remember the divine Father, beloved ones! Take His refuge every moment,"
"Having vainly lost the priceless moment, you will go weeping from place to place!"
