૧	કોણ ચઢે મુજ શત્રુ થઈને? કોણ કરે બળ એવું જી,
	કે ત્રાતાના પ્રેમ તણું ફળ હરતાં મુજથી લે'વું જી.
૨	ફલેશ થશે જો સંકટ સાથે , દુ:ખ થશે બહુ ભારે જી.
	લોક સતાવે ક્રૂર થઈને, ખડ્ગ ચલવી મારે જી.
૩	જળથળમાં બહુ બીક હશે જો, ભૂખ્યો, નાગો હોઉં જી,
	જીવનના દિન સંધામાં જો, વિધવિધ પીડા જોઉં જી.
૪	તોપણ તારક પ્રેમ થકી હું સહુને પાડી નાખું જી,
	હા, જે જીતે તેના કરતાં ધીર અધિક હું રાખું જી.
૫	જીવન જોકે મોત જણાશે, હામ તજી નહિ દોડું જી,
	મનમાં એ દઢ નિશ્વય છે કે તારકને નહિ છોડું જી.
૬	ન કશું એવું સંભવવાનું, જે મુજ ભાવ ઘટાડે જી,
	ન કદી એવો વીર થવાનો, જે મુજ સતને પાડે જી.
૭	દૂત થઈ સંદેશો લાવે, કે હોશે અધિકારી જી,
	હોય પરાક્રમ કો કરનારો; કે મોટો જશધારી જી.
૮	જો કો વાત ભવિષ્ય હશે કે સાંપ્રતકાળ પ્રસારે જી,
	જો ઊંચાણ અપાર હશે કે જો ઊંડાઈ ભારે જી.
૯	કે કો બીજું મળશે વાનું સૃષ્ટિ વિષે જે હોશે જી,
	તે ભાગે વિશ્વાસ ન ડોલે, સ્વર્ગી તાજ ન ખોશે જી.
૧૦	ઈશ્વર પ્રેમ થકી તો મુજને કોઈ ન જુદો પાડે જી,
	ઈશ્વર પ્રેમ જે તારકમાં છે તેથી દૂર ન કાઢે જી.

	That he may take from me the fruit of the Savior's love.
2	If distress comes with affliction, and sorrow becomes very heavy,
	People torment me cruelly, wielding the sword to strike me.
3	If there is much fear on water and land, if I am hungry and naked,
	If in the evening of life's days, I see various sufferings.
4	Yet through the Savior's love I overcome them all,
	Yes, more than the one who conquers, I keep greater courage.
5	Though life may seem as death, I will not lose heart and flee,
	In my mind is this firm resolve, that I will not leave the Savior.
6	Nothing can happen that would lessen my affection,
	Nor shall there ever be such a hero as would cast down my truth.
7	If an angel comes bringing messages, or if there be a ruler,
	If there be anyone doing mighty deeds, or one of great fame.
8	If there be any matter of the future or of the present time,
	If there be immeasurable height, or if there be great depth.
9	Or if anything else be found in creation, whatever it may be,
	By that my faith will not waver, nor will the heavenly crown be lost.
10	Through the love of God no one can separate me,
	From the love of God that is in the Savior, none can drive me away.
