	પાપી જનનાં પાપ ટળે ને, થાક્યા જન આરામ,
	બંદીજનને મુક્તિ દેવા, ખ્રિસ્તે ત્યાગ્યું સ્વર્ગી ધામ.
૨	પતિતજનોનાં પાપ હઠાવા, દુ:ખ સહીને પામ્યા મોત,
	જીવન દેવા રક્ત વહવ્યું, પ્રગટી તેથી જીવન-જ્યોત.
	" શરણ ગ્રહી લો ખ્રિસ્ત ઈસુનું પાપો, બોજા કરશે દૂર,
	તિમિર તમારું ફેડી દઈને જીવનનું ચમકાવે નૂર."
