૧	આજ થયું ધન્ય પ્રભાત, શોક ને દુ:ખની વીતી રાત;
	આનંદ, આનંદ, અપરંપાર! આકાશમાં ને જગ મોઝાર.
૨	ઉત્થાન કેરું થતાં ભોર ડોલી ધરા, ઊઘડી ઘોર;
	ધ્રૂજ્યા સર્વ ચોકીદાર ને થયો ત્યાં જય જયકાર!
૩	કેમ કે વેઠી દુ:ખ ને માર જે ગયો મરણને દ્વાર;
	તે, થતાં રવિ પ્રભાત ઊઠયો મહા જયની સાથ.
૪	પૂરો કીધો રણસંગ્રામ, તારણસાધક કીધું કામ;
	પાપ, મરણને જીતી આજ ખ્રિસ્તે સજ્યો સ્વર્ગી સાજ.
૫	વ્યોમે થયો મહા હર્ષ નીરખીને ગૌર્રવી દર્શ;
	વાગ્યા રણશિંગોના નાદ સ્તોત્ર ગયાં કાઢી સાદ.
૬	એમ જ ખૂલ્યાં મોતી-દ્વાર ભૂપને લેવા સ્વર્ગ મોઝાર;
	યુદ્ધમાં જય પામેલો ખ્રિસ્ત પ્રવેશ્યો મહિમા સહિત.
૭	પિતા ને પુત્રની સાથ, આજે સ્તવો સહુ સંઘાત;
	શુદ્ધાત્માને આપી માન, થાક્યા વિના ગાઓ ગાન.

1	Today became a blessed morning, the night of grief and sorrow has passed;
	Joy, joy, boundless! In heaven and in the world is gladness.
2	At the dawn of resurrection the earth trembled, the darkness opened;
	All the guards trembled and there arose cries of victory!
3	For He who bore suffering and blows, who went to the gate of death;
	He, at sunrise dawn, arose with great victory.
4	He fully fought the battle, the Savior accomplished the work;
	Conquering sin and death today, Christ put on heavenly splendor.
5	In heaven there was great rejoicing, beholding the glorious sight;
	The sounds of trumpets rang out, hymns were sung aloud.
6	Thus the pearl-gates opened to receive the King into heavenly joy;
	Christ, victorious in battle, entered with glory.
7	With the Father and the Son, today let all the assembly praise;
	Giving honor to the Holy Spirit, sing without growing weary.
