૧	હે પ્રભુ, આત્મા દે તું ખાસ, દીક્ષા જે પામ્યો તારો દાસ;

૨	તુજ પાસે શીખી શિખાડે, સૌને તુજ સત્ય પમાડે;
	સંધા પાળકો તુજ પાસે જ્યોતિઓ જેવા પ્રકાશે.
૩	દેજે તું બુદ્ધિનો પ્રકાશ, ધૈર્ય, નમ્રતા ને વિશ્વાસ;
	રાખી તારા લોકને ઉરે રાખે પ્રીતિ સહુ ઉપરે.
૪	ન ધૈર્ય તેઓ તો હારે, ચોકી રાખી સૌને ચારે;
	આપી ચારો ભૂલો ટાળે, ઘેટાં ને હલવાનને પાળે.
૫	તેઓની સેવા પૂરી થાય, આશામાં સંધું મૂકી જાય;
	અમો ને તેઓ સૌ સાથે, રહીએ ઈસુની સંગાથે.

૧	O Lord, give a special spirit, to the servant of Yours who has received consecration;
	Give wisdom and good virtues, clothe him with the ornament of righteousness.
૨	Having learned from You, may he teach, may he lead all to Your truth;
	May all shepherds shine before You like lights.
૩	Give the light of wisdom, courage, humility, and faith;
	Keeping Your people in the heart, may he keep love above all.
૪	If they have no courage, then they fail, though keeping watch on all around;
	Giving pasture, may he avoid errors, and tend the sheep and the lambs.
૫	May their service be fulfilled, may they leave all in hope;
	May we and they all together, remain in the company of Jesus.
