"એલિયા સામણે રૂઠિયો રાય, જીવથી મારવા ફોજ ત્યાં ધાય;
ભક્તનો પક્ષ ધરે પ્રભુ નિત, તે વડે ભક્તની સર્વદા જીત;

Phonetic English

52 – Ishvar dwaaraa bhaktono jay
1 Dev che aasharo santano roj, To pachi shu kare dushtani foj?
Traas paami jashe santthi door, Santni fojamaa khrist che shoor.
2 Hoya joddha ghanaa joramaa puur, Toy paachaa pade santthi door,
"Aeliyaa saamane ruthiyo raay, Jivathi maaravaa foj tyaa dhaay;
3 Devno aasharo aeliyaa paas, Raaynaa sainiko paamiyaa naash".
Ae vinaa daakhalaa shastramaa vaanch, Aagthi, sinhathi naa thai aancha.
4 Bhaktno paksh dhare prabhu nit, Te vade bhaktni sarvadaa jeet;
To pachi bhaktne konani beek? Dev che aasharo to badhu thik.

52 – Victory of the devotees through God
1 God is the refuge of the saints each day, Then what can the army of the wicked do?
They will be terrified and go far from the saints, In the army of the saints Christ is the mighty warrior.
2 Though there be many warriors full of strength, Yet they fall back far from the saints,
"Before Elijah the king grew angry, There the army rushed to kill him;
3 God's refuge was with Elijah, The king's soldiers met destruction".
Read such examples in the Scripture, No harm came from fire or from lions.
4 The Lord always takes the side of the devotee, By that the devotee always has victory;
Then of whom should the devotee be afraid? If God is the refuge, all is well.
