૧ હે પ્રભુજી, મુજ પ્રાર્થ સુણો, 'મુજને તમ દોરો.'
માર્ગ ઘણો ભયકારક છે 'મુજને તમ દોરો;'
આવે છે રજની ધસતી, મુજ છે ઘર આઘે,
દિવ્ય મશાલ દયા જ થકી, ધરજો મુજ માર્ગે.

ચોગમ નીરખતાં વન તો બહુ વિકટ ભાસે,
ઓથ નથી, સહવાસ નથી, પ્રભુ, રહો મુજ પાસે;
છે મુજ પાય શ્રમિત ઘણા બળહીન જણાએ,
વાદળ ઘોર છવાય નભે અકળામણ થાએ.

માટે, પ્રેમળ પાંખ તળે મુજને તમ ઢાંકો,
જોખમ જીવતણાં સઘળાં મુજથી દૂર રાખો;
મોહ અને ગર્વથી મનડું હરખ્યું સહુ વાતે,
તોપણ એ સર્વ માફ કરી, પ્રભુ, રહો મુજ સાથે.

નિશા અંધારી, પણ તે તમને નવ ઢાંકે,
ભોર થતાં લગ નીરખજો કરુણામય આંખે;
ત્યારે, હું કરમાં પ્રભુના ઊંઘીશ નિરાંતે,
ને સ્તવનો ગાતાં હર્ષથી જાગીશ પ્રભાતે.

Moh ane garvthi manadu harakhayu sahu vaate,
