૧	ઈસુ ઘેટાંપાળક, લૂછે અશ્રુપાત;
	ઉરે અમને રાખે, બીએ શાને માટ !
	જઈએ પૂઠે તેની, જ્યાં તે દોરી જાય;
	ઉજ્જડ રાનમાં થઈ યા લીલા બીડ માંય.
૨	ઈસુ ઘેટાંપાળક, વાણી છે મધુર;
	વાણી નમ્ર તેની, સુખી કરે ઉર.
	ધકકાવે તે જ્યારે, વાણીમાં મીઠાશ;
	દોરી જશે પોતે, અમો તેના ખાસ
૩	ઈસુ ઘેટાંપાળક, મૂઓ ઘેટાં માટ;
	ઘેટાં પરે પાડી લોહી કેરી છાંટ.
	એથી તેણે કીધું મોટું આ નિશાન;
	"તેઓ છે સહુ મારાં" પામ્યાં આત્માદાન.
૪	ઈસુ ઘેટાંપાળક, પંડે દોરી જાય;
	વરુ કે બીજાથી હાનિ ન કંઈ થાય.
	મરણ કેરી ખીણે જો કે હોય કંઈ ભય,
	ભૂંડાથી ના બીશું, ઘોર પર થશે જય.

	Whether in the barren wilderness or in green pastures.
