૨	હોય જોદ્ધા ઘણા જોરમાં પૂર,	તોય પાછા પડે સંતથી દૂર,
	"એલિયા સામણે રૂઠિયો રાય,	જીવથી મારવા ફોજ ત્યાં ધાય;
૩	દેવનો આશરો એલિયા પાસ,	રાયના સૈનિકો પામિયા નાશ".
	એ વિના દાખલા શાસ્ત્રમાં વાંચ,	આગથી, સિંહથી ના થઈ આંચ.
૪	ભક્તનો પક્ષ ધરે પ્રભુ નિત,	તે વડે ભક્તની સર્વદા જીત;
	તો પછી ભક્તને કોણની બીક?	દેવ છે આશરો તો બધું ઠીક.

1	God is the refuge of the saints each day,	Then what can the army of the wicked do?
	They will be terrified and go far from the saints,	In the army of the saints Christ is the mighty warrior.
2	Though there be many warriors full of strength,	Yet they fall back far from the saints,
	"Before Elijah the king grew angry,	There the army rushed to kill him;
3	God's refuge was with Elijah,	The king's soldiers met destruction".

4	The Lord always takes the side of the devotee,	By that the devotee always has victory;
	Then of whom should the devotee be afraid?	If God is the refuge, all is well.
