શોક, સંકટ, શકમાં અહીં આવ્યો, ત્યારે મુજ જીવ આરામ પામ્યો;
છૂટયો તોડી ભૂંડાની જાળ, આવ્યાથી તું, મિષ્ટ ભજનકાળ !
મિષ્ટ ભજનકાળ ! મિષ્ટ ભજનકાળ ! મુજ અરજી લઈ તુજ પાંખ પર હાલ,
વિશ્વાસુ દેવને ચરણે ધર; સત જેનું ને પ્રીત છે તત્પર.
આતુર આત્માને આપવા સુખ, જે કહે "ધર ભાવ ને શોધ મુજ મુખ;"
નાખીશ તેના પર મુજ જંજાળ, જોઉં વાટ તારી, મિષ્ટ ભજનકાળ !
મિષ્ટ ભજનકાળ ! મિષ્ટ ભજનકાળ ! દિલાસો તારો મુજને આપ,
ને પિસ્ગાહ પરથી દીઠા બાદ મુજ દેશ ને ભૂપનું સ્થાન આબાદ;

Chhootayo todi bhoondaani jaal, aavyaathi tun, misht bhajanakaal !

Vishvaasu devane charane dhar; sat jenun ne preet chhe tatpar.
Aatur aatmaane aapava sukh, je kahe "dhar bhaav ne shodh muj mukh;"
