	સહાય પણ તે લાવતો વહેલો દેખાશે;
	હું પ્રાર્થના કરું, ખ્રિસ્ત પૂરું કરશે,
	જો વહાણે તે હોય તો ભય ત્યાંથી મટશે.
૨	હું તેને માનું, દુ:ખનો મટાડનાર,
	ભૂલેલાંઓને રસ્તો દેખાડનાર;
	જો મિત્રો મોત પામી સુખ ઘટી જશે,
	સદા તેનું વચન અચળ જ રહેશે.
૩	પામેલો પ્રેમ જ, તે જ મને કહેશે,
	અંતે તે મને ડૂબવા ન દેશે;
	પ્રત્યેક ઉપકારથી એટલું તો જણાય,
	કે તેના ઠરાવથી થાય સદા સહાય.
૪	શા માટે બીહું, કે થાઉં નિરાશ?
	સંદેહ કેમ રાખી હું ખોઉં આકાશ?
	તે અહીં લગી લાવી વેણ નહિ ખોશે;
	શું ભુલાવવા મને બોલાવ્યો હોશે?
૫	ખ્રિસ્તની દયાથી ઔષધ અન્ન થઈ જાય,
	દુ:ખ થાય મૂળ સુખનું, કટુ ગળ્યું થાય;
	જો હમણાં હોય ભારે, આગળ થાય હર્ષિત,
	ને કેવું હોય હર્ષિત જય પામનારું ગીત.

2	I believe Him, the remover of sorrow,
	The one who shows the way to the lost;
	If friends die and happiness diminishes,
	His word will always remain unshaken.
3	The love I have received, that itself will tell me,
	In the end He will not let me drown;
	From every kindness this much is known,
	That by His decree help always comes.
4	Why should I fear, or become discouraged?
	Why should I keep doubt and lose heaven?
	He has brought me this far and will not lose the reins;
	Would He have called me only to forsake me?
5	By Christ's mercy medicine and food become,
	Sorrow becomes the root of joy, bitterness becomes sweet;
	If now it is heavy, later it becomes joyful,
