૩૩૬ - સેવાનું અનુસરણ

૧	પ્રભુ ! બોલ કે બોલું પછી, તુજ વાણી એ રીતે વધે;
	તું જેમ ખોળે તેમ હું, ખોવાયેલાં ખોળું બધે.
	પ્રભુ ! દોર કે દોરું પછી, ભટકેલને તારી ભણી;
	ખવડાવ કે ખવડાવું હું, વાની ભૂખ્યાંને સ્વર્ગની.
૨	તુજમાં મને બળવાન કર, કે અબળને બળ હું દઉં;
	પ્રેમી કરે ડૂબતાં જનો તું ખડક પર ખેંચી લઉં.
	શીખવ મને કે શીખવું, શુભ પાઠ તુજ વરદાનનો;
	મુજ વચન ઊંડાં ઊતરે, બદલાય તેઓનાં મનો.
૩	તુજ શાંતિ મીઠી દે મને, કે દુ:ખિતને દઉં શાંતિ હું;
	લાચાર ને તુજ પ્રેમનો સંદેશ વેળાસર કહું.
	તું જેમ, જ્યારે, જ્યાં કહીં, ચાહે મને વાપર તહીં;
	તુજ મુખ જોઉં ત્યાં સુધી સુખ હર્ષ ને મહિમા મહીં.

1	Prabhu ! Bol ke bolu pachhi, tuj vani e reete vadhe;
	Tu jem khole tem hu, khovaayelaan kholu badhe.
	Prabhu ! Dor ke doru pachhi, bhatkelne taari bhani;
	Khavadaav ke khavadaavu hu, vaani bhookhyaanne svargani.
2	Tujamaa mane balavaan kar, ke abalne bal hu dau;
	Premi kare doobataa jano tu khadak par khenchi lau.
	Sheekhav mane ke sheekhavu, shubh paath tuj varadaanano;
	Muj vachan oondaa ootare, badalaay teonaa mano,
3	Tuj shaanti meethi de mane, ke dukhitane dau shaanti hu;
	Laachaar ne tuj premano sandesh velaasar kahu.
	Tu jem, jyaare, jyaa kahi, chaahe mane vaapar tahi;
	Tuj mukh jou tyaa sudhi sukh harsh ne mahima mahee.

૧	Lord! Speak, that I may then speak, so may Your word increase in that way;
	As You seek, so I may seek everywhere those who are lost.
	Lord! Lead, that I may then lead, telling the wanderer of You;
	Feed me, that I may feed those hungry for heaven with the word.
૨	Make me strong in You, that I may give strength to the weak;
	In love may I draw sinking people onto the rock.
	Teach me, that I may teach the blessed lesson of Your gift;
	May my words sink deep, and their minds be changed.
૩	Give me Your sweet peace, that I may give peace to the sorrowful;
	May I tell the helpless in time the message of Your love.
	As You will, when You will, where You will, use me there;
	Until I see Your face, in joy and gladness and glory.
