૨ જિંદગી જાય વેગથી આપણી , લાગ છે સેવનો એટલામાં,
કાળને કામમાં લાવવા ભૂલ મા, દિલથી ખ્રિસ્તની રાહ જોતાં,
૩ શાસ્ત્રમાં વાંચતાં નીરખો વાક્યને, કોલ આપે પ્રભુ આવવાનો;
કેમ કે લોક મારા બધા ત્યાં રહે, જ્યાં રહું આપ ત્યાં મુજ દાસો.
૪ આભમાં ફૂંકશે દૂત રણશિંગડું, જાગશે સંત સૌ તે જ વારે;
દોડશે હર્ષથી ભેટવા નાથને, સૌ મૂઆ જીવતા એક હારે.
૫ તે સમે વિપત્તિ લોકને બહુ થશે, જે કદી ન થઈ, ન થવાની;
કાળ બિહામણો લાગશે તે સમે, દુ:ખ ને મારથી થાય હાનિ.
૬ બુદ્ધિ ને ન્યાયથી ચાલવું આ જગે, ગાળવી ભક્તિમાં જિંદગાની,
તો પછી ખ્રિસ્તને ભેટતાં ભાવથી બીક તો લેશ નહિ લાગવાની.
