૧	સેવા કરવા આવિયા,	હે પ્રભુ, અમમાં આવ;
	ભક્તિ અમારી માનજે,	આશિષ સૌ પર લાવ.

	તુજ ગમ મનડું વાળજે,	હમણાં અને સદાય.
૨	જગ-ચિંતાના કાઢજે,	મનથી સર્વ વિચાર;
	તારી વાતોનો થજો,	અમમાં બહુ વિસ્તાર.
	તારા લેખો વાંચતાં	એવી આશિષ આપ;
	કે તે ચોંટેં ચિત્તમાં,	માટે તેને સ્થાપ.
૩	જે જે વાતો સુણીએ,	તે હ્રદયે ઉતાર,
	કે મીઠાં ફળ દાખવે,	અમમાં વારંવાર.
	રૂડાં રૂડાં ગીતનો	શોર ચઢે જે વાર,
	તે સેવા તું માનજે,	હે ઈશ્વર, દાતાર.
૪	ભાવ ખરો ઉપજાવજે,	સર્વ સભાની માંય;
	તારો આત્મા આપજે,	કે સૌ તૃપ્ત કરાય.
	અરજ અમારી આજની	તે તો સુણો, બાપ,
	ઈસુ તારક નામથી,	માફ કરો સૌ પાપ.

1	We have come to render service,	O Lord, come among us;
	Accept our devotion,	Bring blessings upon all.
	Instill Your knowledge,	Into the hearts of all;
	Turn our little minds to what pleases You,	Now and forever.
2	Remove the cares of the world,	And every thought from the mind;
	May there be,	Great spreading of Your words among us.
	As we read Your writings	Give such a blessing;
	That they may cling to the heart,	Therefore establish them there.
3	Whatever things we hear,	Instill them in the heart,
	So that they may show sweet fruit,	In us again and again.
	When the sound	Of simple songs rises,
	Accept that service,	O God, Giver.
4	Produce true feeling,	In the whole assembly;
	Give Your Spirit,	So that all may be satisfied.
